CELINA JEITLEY : Celina seems to be enjoying the success of her recent hit “GOLMAAL RETURNS” and had bought herself a brand new BMW on her 27th birthday which fell on November 24.

But on the other hand, her birthday did not start on a happy note. First her pet puppy Gooblee swallowed a plastic material on Sunday and got ill. Then she was all alone on her birthday, since her parents were not with her on her day, leaving her bit sad.

However, to make up for the above, she spent her day with destitute girls being looked upon by an orgainisation - Regina Spaces, which brought smile back on her face.

Following the success of wonderful performance by debutant MUGDHA GODSE in recent hit “FASHION”, another model is taking a plunge in Bollywood film industry.

Canada born top model SAIRA MOHAN, who was earlier seen in a very small role in Karan Johar's KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA, is to be seen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer TEEN PATTI, to be directed by Leena Yadav.Film also stars Boman Irani, Madhavan and Mahesh Manjrekar.

ASHISH CHAUDHARY : In the recent ghastly Mumbai Terror attacks, Bollywood actors Ashish Chaudhary’s sister Monica and her husband were among unlucky ones who were found dead in Oberoi’s Tiffin restaurant, where they had gone for dining.

Mumbai police have come out with a figure of 183 dead in these attacks, including 22 foreign nationals, at Mumbai CST Station, Cama Hospital, Taj Palace Hotel, Oberoi Trident Hotel and Metro Circle, between Nov. 26 9.30pm to Nov.29 8am. However, reports say that the figure will rise, once the whole TAJ Palace is sanitized.

We pay tribute to the departed souls who fell prey to the ugly act of terror. May their souls rest in piece. Let’s shed our apathy and act now to restore harmony.

BIPASHA’S LAMHAA : Remember in my earlier blogs, I have mentioned about the problems LAMHAA’s producer Bunty Walia, Director Rahul Dholakia and Actor Sanjay Dutt had to face due to Bipasha’s sudden departure from film’s shooting in Kashmir and thereby leaving the film’s fate hanging.

News are that both the producer and director are decideing to replace Bipasha with another actress, if she refuses to travel to Kashmir for the next schedule of film’s shooting starting from January 4, 2009.

And the hot contender for this replacement seems to be none other than VIDYA BALAN, and as per the sources Rahul Dholaki had already met Vidya Balan.

Reprtedly Bunty and Rahul were very upset on account of Bipasha’s unprofessional attitude.

Contrary to Bipasha’s unprofessional act, one should take a leaf out of Akshay’s recent act from a recent episode that took place during the shoot of Nikhil Advani’s “CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA”, starring Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone.

It just happened that our great AKKI had a muscle pull when performing a stunt scene for the said film at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. Inspite of bed rest suggested by Doctor, Aksjay moved ahead and continued to shoot the action sequences with Hong Kong based action expert Gordon Liu, who was specially roped in and was available in Mumbai just for a day. Akshay did not want to delay the shoot and went ahead despite his muscle injury, thus avoiding monetary losses to the producers. TAKE A BOW AKSHAY, for your professional commitments.

Moreover, he even rushed to Dubai to shoot a Song for his forthcoming film “DE DANA DAN”, directed by Priyadarshan and co-starring Suniel Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Katrina Kaif & Sameera Reddy.

REVIEW : OYE LUCKY ! LUCKY OYE !

Here comes Dibakar Banerjee’s 2nd film after his successful “KHOSLA KA GHOSLA”.

OYE LUCKY ! LUCKY OYE ! plot reminds you of Abhishek -Rani Mukherjee starrer BUNTY AUR BABLI, released couple of years ago, a film about 2 young thieves.

The film is about a boy grown up in a lower middle class family living in dingy Delhi lanes, with electric wires shown tangling with each other in the sky, a typical Chandni Chowk setting of Old Delhi. Starting his first crime by stealing Greeting Cards, he goes on to become a full-fledged thief, who literally picks up everything which comes in his way such as Dry Fruits, Music systems, cars, scooters, crockery, furniture, even a dog so on and on.

The film picks up tracing the journey of a Sikh boy Lucky Singh (Abhay Deol), his first teenage crush, relationship with his father & friends etc etc. Here some scenes are interesting, but when Lucky goes on to become a thief, the film becomes bit repetitive, showing his crimes one by one. His love interest is played by Sonal (Neetu Chandra) of “Traffic Signal & Garam Masala” fame.

The problem with the film is one track script and it’s Delhi flavour & dialect, which will only be popular in Northern part of India and hence will not be well accepted by rest of India, especially the SOUTHERN part of country.

But still one can’t write down and ignore Dibakar Banerjee, he has something in him, specially his natural and authentic style of filming which was visible in “KHOSLA KA GHOSLA”. Here also, the way in which he has filmed Delhi i.e. the body language, their dialect, the setting of middle class working Delhiites is just superb.

Now coming on to the performance, Paresh Rawal, as usual is excellent and here he plays not one not two a TRIPLE role, which is a feast for his fans. His all the roles are totally different from each other and he excels in all.

Abhay Deol is one actor, who is improving gradually film by film, here also impresses with his performance. His choice of films is varied and interesting unlikely his cousins Bobby and Sunny Deol.
Neetu Chandra has not much to perform and has been outshone by Paresh Rawal & Abhay Deol.
About the music, nothing much to say, it is bit loud but goes well with the film’s setting.
Overall, the film can be seen once, specially for Lucky Singh’s unique style of CHORIS (Thefts) and Paresh Rawal’s histrionics.
I will give 2 out of 5.

REVIEW – SORRY BHAI

Director Onir has once again come up with a novel script, following his last 2 films – “MY BROTHER NIKHIL” & “BAS EK PAL”.

Sorry Bhai is also the comeback film of Chitrangda Singh, who had made waves in her 1st innings with Hazaaro Khwaaishen Aisi.

Film is about 3 characters - Sharman Joshi & Sanjay Suri playing Brothers and Chitrangda, their love interest. Shabana Azmi & Boman Irani enacts the role of parents of Sharman & Suri.

Story goes like this – Sharman Joshi a young Scientist has gone to Mauritius with his mother Shabana for the wedding of his elder brother Sanjay Suri. Mother is bit annoyed with Sanjay, since he is marrying against their wish.

Sanjay, a busy person, can’t spend much time with them and hence it is up to his fiancée Chitrangda to move around with Sharman and Shabana to show them the beautiful Mauritius. Mother is also not happy with Chitrangda, because of her annoyance with Sanjay Suri. Hence, it leads to Sharman & Chitrangda spending more time together and becoming closer gradually. When Sharman see the sparks flying, he is bit reluctant to go move ahead with Chitrangda, but she is madly attracted towards him.

When everybody comes to know about this, all are shocked and …….Rest you have to go and watch the movie.

Although the concept is a bit new, but it is still a bit bold for Indian audience especially for the orthodox Indian family. However, today’s youth may identify with the film and may like the film.

As regards to acting, it is Sharman Joshi, who looks cute and charming, once again stands apart with his smooth sailing natural performance. Especially the chemistry between him Chitrangda is just superb. Chitrangda, as usual who has proved herself with her earlier performances is natural and matches step by step to a seasoned performer like Shabana, who once again has given a remarkable performance. Boman, also cake walks his role and his sequences with Shabana are beautiful. Sanjay is good, but wish his role was more defining.

Cinematography is excellent capturing the locales and beaches of Mauritius. Music is OK.

Overall, film is interesting in pieces, specially the build up of love between Sharman & Chitrangda and conflict between Shabana & Chitrangda. Again the target audience is MULTIPLEX crowd & YOUTH and not the common public, which makes the film a hit in the country. Hence, it may not hit the Boz Office eye, but will recover the finances put into it.

On the whole, I will give 2 STAR to the film.

KAREENA : Our Bebo is so excited and committed for the shooting dates of her forthcoming film with Karan Johar, that she turned down the special invitation from British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

According to Kareena, she was the only invitee from Indian Film Fraternity, but since she had already committed these dates to Karan Johar, she had to turn down the invitation and go ahead to Philadelphia to shoot in the ice cold sub zeroes temperatures. Now that’s what we call a Pucca PROFESSIONAL.

SHARMAN JOSHI : Young upcoming promising hero Sharman Joshi, who was a part of ROHIT SHETTY’S GOLMAAL (PART 1), regrets not to be a part of sequel GOLMAAL RETURNS, which he could not do due to DATES problems. In place of Sharman, SHREYAS TALPADE was roped in, who gave a wonderful performance in the sequel.

Now Sharman has committed to Director Rohit Shetty that he will not miss the 3rd part at any cost. And Rohit Shetty is ready to accommodate him and will create a special character for Sharman in addition to Shreyas, who will also be part of the GOLMAAL 3rd part.


SRK/ MALAYSIAN HONOUR : King Khan is going to receive top Malaysian Honour Award carrying the title “DASTUK”, for his contribution to promote Malaysia as a tourist destination, since he has shot 2 of his films “ONE TWO KA FOUR & DON” in Malaysia. Khan will receive the award on Dec. 6 and will wear the traditional Malyasian outfit fro the event.

SRK BILLOO BARBER : Much hyped SRK’s BILLOO BARBER release has been postponed to February 14, next year.

The reason given by Shaharukh Khan is that initially they wanted to release the movie on November 1, but then he wanted to avoid clash with YUVVRAAJ. Then his forthcoming “RAB NE BANA DI JODI” is also due to release 2 weeks later, so he did not want both of his movies to eat their business in between them.

Hence they decided to give a space between his two releases and now BILLOO BARBER will be opened for public on Feb. 14, on the Valentine’s Day.

YUVVRAAJ : Sadly again for Subhash Ghai and Salman Khan, reports indicate that Yuvvraaj has not done well and has not gone well with today’s youth, which is one of the important deciding factor for the fate of films nowadays.
These are bad days for our Sallu Miyan, another dud after his earlier flops – “GOD TUSSI GREAT HO, HEROES and HELLO”.

FARHAN ROCKS ON : After HEROES, GANDHI MY FATHER & SARKAR RAAJ, now it is Farhan Akhtar’s ROCK ON turn, it’s script has been selected for OSCAR LIBRARY. Nice to know that Indian films are getting recognition worldwide. And we wish more such original Screenplays are on way in Bollywood.

MANDIRA BEDI : Mandira Bedi is furious nowadays and guess why ? Well she is upset about the reports in the market stating that Mandira was conscious of looking older as compared to her co-star EIJAJ KHAN in her forthcoming film “MEERABAI NOT OUT”, which is dur for release on Dec. 5.

Film has generated enough curiosity because of special appearance by Cricketer ANIL KUMBLE, who retired recently from the International Cricket. In the film Mandira plays a role of Maharashtrian Maths Teacher, who is a big fan of Anil Kumble.

ROHAN SIPPY : Next week due release Rohan Sippy’s English film “THE PRESIDENT IS COMING” starring Konkana Sen Shama had a trouble in Censor Board prior to it’s release. It all happened due to a dialogue in the film which says “If you want to be a press ofiicer, then you have to be scheduled caste. This is lower in status, but there are higher chances of getting a job…Reservations Na”.

The dialogue is spoken by a Maharashtrian in the film. Censor Board flet that this dialogue may create some unrest/ hungama among the various sections of the community, specially in view of the ongoing disturbed communal situation in Maharashtra. When Producer Rohan Sippy was told to act upon, which he agreed without any fuss. So the said dialogue will be shown inaudible to the audience, when the film releases.

GHAJINI MUSIC

This Rahman-Aamir collaboration seems to hit the bull’s eye once again. After churning out super Musical Hits - 'Rang De Basanti', 'Lagaan: Once Upon A Time In India' and 'Rangeela', they are back with latest “GHAJINI”.

Aamir Khan leaves no efforts in vain for his films and when it comes to his forthcoming Ghajini, the music by A.R. REHMAN is already creating waves.

The soundtrack contains – “GUZARISH, KAISE MUJHE, AYE BACHCHU, BEHKA, LATOO”.

GUZARISH sung by Javed Ali (JASHNE-E-BAHAARAN” fame) is a typical sweet Bollywood song, suiting perfectly to AAMIR’S VOICE.

Benny Dayal whose TU MERI DOST HAI is topping the charts has once again come good in KAISE MUJHE, which has a touch of Ismail Darbar.

AYE BACHCHU by Suzanne is a foot tapping rocking number for Dance Floors.

The surprise packet is LATOO sung by Shreya Ghosal, who shocks you rather surprises with this peppy number of Sunidhi Chauhan’s type.

BEHKA, sung by KARTHIKis a unique song by Rehman, and the antara portions are special.

Overall, Rehman is a winner once again and the music is certainly better than his recent works – Jodhaa Akbar, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na & Yuvvraaj. Seems to be a blockbuster, once the film releases in December.


SAMIR KARNIK : Director Samir Karnik of recently release “HEROES” is on the top of the world, the reason being his film script has been invited by the OSCARS, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, for it’s Archives.

Karnik feels since his screenplay was an original work, invited the attention of OSCARS. He will soon be sending the script, which will be featured in OSCARS collection, where they are meant for research purpose for student writers, filmmakers and actors.

Moreover, he has gone ahead and signed Preity Zinta for his forthcoming film “FORMULA NO. 44”, an action flick, where Preity will be seen as an action heroine just opposite to as she was picturised in “HEROES”. The Male leads are Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan & Vatsal Seth.

DARSHEEL SAFARI : Darsheel, the star of “TAARE ZAMEEN PAR” is slowly learning the price of SUCCESS. It happened at a recent shooting of “BAM BAM BOLE” at Ooty, a remake of Iranian director’s film “CHILDREN OF HEAVEN”. It is learnt that the film shooting has to be stooped for 3 hours and whwen you come to know the reason you will be surprised.

Well, Darsheel was wearing a particular brand T-Shirt, which goes opposite with the brand he endorses. This was certainly not acceptable to the brand managers, who told the producers Percept Picture Company to make amends in the portions which was already shot with Darsheel’s controversial T-Shirt. Darsheel was just shocked by the happenings. Finally truce was made when producers agreed to reshoot those particular sequences and assured that this won’t happen in future.

FARHAN AKHTAR : Remember in one of my blogs. I mentioned about the grand opening affair of “ATLANTIS HOTEL” in Dubai, where our hot favourites SRK, PRIYANKA, FARHAN AKHTAR were representing the Indian film fraternity.

Well, Farhan Akhtar is too excited after his return from the mega event, te reason being, he got to meet his all time idol ROBERT DE NIRO at the launch of Atlantis. According to Farhan, he was expecting a normal handshake from the legend, but can you imagine, he got a personal hug from the legend. De Niro came to know about Frahan’s work from our SRK, Further Robert De Niro has given Farhan his contact details, where Farhan can send him his films.

HRITHIK ROSHAN : HRITHIK is very excited to sign a new film after a long time following his home production “KITES”. And he should be because he has signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next one, yet to be titled.

And other reason to be excited is her co-star who will be opposite hi, well she is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, with whom he share a special Chemistry and whose pairing has given big hits like “DHOOM 2 & JODHAA-AKBAR”.

Recently Hrithik & his wife Susanne went for a break after hectic film schedule of KITES. They were off to BORA BORA, a small island. They had a time of their life, with both of them, can you imagine swam with SHARKS. They were in deep water surrounded by sharks as long as 6 feet. Hats off to Susanne for this brave act.

And this is not done, they went again to swim with Sharks next day, since thye had to take pictures of Sharks for their son Hrehhan.

Below is the brief on recently release BOLLYWOOD FILMS.

1. DOSTANA : Had a good opening, specially in Multiplexes and is attracting the youth most. 1st week collection was around 28 Cr. 2nd week is also steady. HIT
2. EK VIVAH AISA BHI : Suraj Barjatya’s family flick is steady but did not fare as well as his past films. Total collections till dates has been around 1.1 Crores, considering less no. of prints. AVERAGE.
3. GOLMAAL RETURNS : It received a bumper opening, but was too pricey for the distributors. 3rd week collections have dipped considerably. HIT.
4. FASHION : This Madhur Bhandarkar film has again done well and has done wonders for Priyanka Chopra. It’s a HIT, considering it’s average pricing. 3rd week collections have dipped considerably, after DOSTANA & YUVVRAJ release.
5. DASVIDANIYA : This low budget film picked up in the weekends, specially in multiplexes, it is not a film for the masses. Also it’s business got seriously dented by DOSTANA. But considering it’s low pricing, can be termed as AVERAGE.
6. EMI : Sanjay Dutt starrer fared badly throughout and is a FLOP.

Overall DOSTANA is a WINNER and has been accepted well overseas alos, especially in U.K., where it is the 3rd biggest opener after RACE & SINGH IS KINNG. In USA too, it has an excellent opening.

Now let's watch the fate of Subhash Gahi's YUVVRAJ. Hope he strike the BOX OFFICE this time.

MAHESH BHATT/MEERA : Hope you remember Pakistani actress MEERA, launched by Mahesh Bhatt in Bollywood through “NAZAR”, which flopped miserably.

She was found knocking at Mahesh Bhatt’s door on Nov. 17, at 1.30am in the night.

When Bhatt Sahab was asked, he confirmed and unfolded the drama. At 1.30am there was a knock at Bhatt’s Juhu home, the door was opened by his daughter Shaheen. She was surprised to see Meera with Gulshan Arora, owner of Hotel Sun ‘n’ Sand. Mahesh Bhatt added that he was rather shocked to see a disturbed Meera who was asking him to accommodate her for the night. He found no reason to allow her in the house at such an odd time and that too in this state. He acted responsibly and handed over to Sevy Ali, Producer of Nazar, who took Meera to a Hotel where another Pakistani Actor Humayyun Sayeed, as according to Meera , his wife is a good friend of her’s.

Meera also confirmed the news, but was bit annoyed and disappointed with Mahesh Bhatt attitude and was rather taken aback when he contacted her father to take him back to Pakistan.

CHITRAGANDHA SINGH : Earlier in one of my blogs, I had mentioned about the conflict between Chitragandh and her mentor Sudhir Mishra on her comeback to Bollywood thru’ Onir’s "Sorry Bhai", instead of Sudhir Mishra’s film, and retorting to thi, Mishra had vowed never to work with her again.

It seems that smart girl Chitragandha has managed to calm down Sudhir Mishra and she has been signed by Sudhir in his forthcoming films “WHO’s SPEAKING” and “THE NAWAB, THE NAUTCH GIRL AND THE JOHN COMPANY”. The later one is a periodic drama set in the days of East India Company. To add to her good luck, she has also replaced Soha Ali Khan as Chandramukhi in Sudhir’s “AUR DEVDAS”.

So finally the D Day comes i.e the BIGG BOSS SEASON 2 GRAND JUMBO FINALE.

Nothing new is happening in the house, since the D Day is nearing fast and the housemates are excited rather nervous. Raja, Zulfi and Ashutosh are rewinding their memories associated with each and every corner of the house.

They get a surprise in the form of RAVI KISHAN, who was a hot favourite in the last season BIGG BOSS. All 4 enjoy by dancing, partying , with Ravi sharing his experience in the Bigg Boss house.

SANJAY DUTT : It seems BAD DAYS and our dear Sanju Baba go hand in hand. There have been many events recently which has hurt Sanju mentally and physically as well. To start with it was Bipasha’s sudden exit from Kashmir for Lamhaa, on the day he reached there to start his shooting. Even when the shooting started at Manali, there also he got s ome damage to his existing shoulder injury while rehearsing for action scenes.

More to follow was the termination of contract with Ekta Kapoor, thus resulting in huge loss.

HIMESH/ REHMAN : Music Maestro Rehman has composd a special song, which he feels suits to Himesh’s voice perfectly. But since the song will be shot only next year, Rehman has not yet discussed with Himesh as regards to this special song.

But when Himesh came to know about this news, he straightaway expressed his refusal, owing to his policy of not singing for other composer. Instead, he feels, it will be great, if Rehman Saab gives music for one of his films, in which he is the actor and singer.

Now let’s see, what happens in future, it is too early to comment.

Showman Subhash Ghai is back with his magnum opus YUVVRAAJ, too based on his evergreen “good vs evil and family bonding” formula of 80’s & 90’s. As far as I remember, TAAL was his last his hit movie, after which he lost his touch. Remember, Ghai has given a string of superhits like – KARZ, RAM LAKHAN, SAUDAGAR, VIDHAATA, KARMA, KHALNAYAK, PARDES and before that MERI JUNG, VISHWANATH, KALICHARAN. It seems the Showman may hit the Box Office bull’s eye this time, even though the script is a bit loose, but still he manages to pull off this musical, well supported by scintillating music by A.R. REHMAN, beautiful Poetry/ Lyrics by GULZAAR SAHAB and to top it up, the highlight of this GRAND FILM IS BREATHTAKING CINEMATOGRAPHY by KABIR LAL, who has capture the exotic sceneries of VIENNA, LONDON & PRAGUE, where the movie is shot.

Yuvvraaj is about 3 brothers played by Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan & Zayed Khan. Salman plays a spoiled brat, who is kicked out of his grand palace by his father, because of his rivalry with elder brother, who is mentally disturbed, characterized by veteran Anil Kapoor. 3rd brother Zayed is also equally flamboyant and flashy who doesn’t impress much in the film, except seen flying planes and playing Casino. Salman who plays a choir boy meets Katrina and falls in love with her, but their relationship is not approved by her billionaire father Boman Irani, due to Salman’s broke status.

When he comes to know about his father’s death, he returns home to take claims on family fortunes worth 15000 crores. Rest the film is about how the brothers unite and fight the evil relatives, who are after their property

Now coming on to acts, the surprise packets of the film are the acts by Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, who hold the film together with their sparkling chemistry, Rehaman’s music (though not as good as TAAL) and Kabir Lal’s photography. Anil, as usual carries on his role with ease. Zayed has nothing much to do. Especially great work by YUVRANI Katrina, who stands firm and sparkles in this male dominated bhai -bhai story. Mithun Da impresses again in his small role.

I give Yuvvraaj 3 out of 5. And recommends to watch the film at least once for showman’s Ghai’s touch, though it’s not one of his best works, but still notch ahead of his flops like YAADEIN, KISNA and BLACK & WHITE.

3. Inspite of plotting, planning and manipulating the exit of Rahul from the very beginning of show, Raja feels very bad when Rahul exits from the house.

1. Celebrating his own birthday and cutting the biggest cake of his life, brought by Rahul.

The film shooting continued in Manali after that. On hearing this, J&K Government is serious and is doing the damage control by requesting the films’ producer Bunty Walia, Rahul Dholakia & Sanjay Dutt to re-start the shoot in the valley, on the assurance of tight security.

BIGG BOSS2, DAY94 Raja, Ashutosh & Zulfi are back to normal after Rahul's voluntarily exit.
Big Boss again gives a daily karya in the form of "Pathshala", where Asutosh is again playing Principal and Zulfi, Raja as students.

Ashutosh is takin lecture on Shakespear's poem and with his special branded tooty footi Angrezi is raping the graet Shakespear's great work.

Bigg Boss has installed an AIRTEL'S LANDLINE, on which he congratulates Zulfi & other Housemates for bein slected for FINALS.

Raja acts as missing Rahul and is decorating the TOILETS LOBBY with Flower Pots.

FINALLY 10 days long strike of TV WORKERS has been caleed off and it's good news for TV SOAPS LOVERS. A mutual decision has been take on during a meeting between Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Producers’ Body.

Now the fresh episodes will be telecast from Nov. 24 onwards.

Another exciting episode after the Saturday’s incident of all the 4 escaping out of BIGG BOSS House. Zulfi & Raja are feeling guilty of their act, as per them it was a matter of a single meal that they could not resist themselves and did such a shameful act. Bigg Boss asks everybody about their feeling to which all except Rahul express their guilt towards their act. Rahul says that it was a fault on both the sides and whatever they did during that moment was perfectly fine and hence he doesn’t feel sorry.

Finally Rahul drops a bomb and says that he takes the responsibility of their act and decides to exit voluntarily out of the house on the condition that the nominations of both Raja & Zulfi gets cancelled. Bigg Boss calls all of them and asks Rahul about his decision, to which Rahul says he is willing to take voluntary exit from the show but in that case nominations of both Raja & Zulfi should be cancelled, to which Bigg Boss says that he has nothing to do about the nominations. Finally Rahul saya that he wants to leave the show.

Rahul packs his bags and finally he leaves the show to everyone’s shock, specially Ashutosh who feels guilty a lot and starts crying. Can you imagine even Raja also starts weeping. Even after Rahul moves out Ashutosh can’t stop crying.

BIGG BOSS 2, DAY 91, KRAZZY 4

After surviving the past tough 90 days, finally the remaining 4 contestants/ finalists – Rahul, Zulfi, Raja & Ashutosh did such an act that nobody could have thought of. They were pleading Bigg Boss to provide them readymade food or basic food items as onion, potato & tomato, since they had only Rice & Dal leftover with them. They tried to break the house door, but did not succeed. Finally they get a call from BIGG BOSS, asking what is the problem, to which they ask for the food items, BIGG BOSS says them to wait.

After waiting for 15 minutes, when they don’t get any reply they finally give up and decide to do the brave or rather cowardly act in the evening. They jump one by one over the boundary wall and run away from the house, can you believe it ?

At 8.15 pm, they are shown again back in the home after being convinced by the producers. Raja is being called in the confession room and given the readymade cooked food for them, on which they just jump like anything, as if they have been hungry for days.

BIGG BOSS calls all the housemates in the living room. And calls all of them “BHAGODAS”, since they did such a cowardly act of running. They have broken an important rule of the house. And have shown a poor face to all of their fans.

He call Zulfi to the confession room and asks Zulfi to nominate one of the housemates. Zulfi nominates Raja. He is asked to keep this secret. Then Rahul is being called upon, Rahul also nominates Raja. Then Raja nominates Zulfi and finally Ashutosh nominates Zulfi.

Bigg Boss nominates Raja & Zulfi for eviction, as a punishment. All of them are surprised and repent their act. They complain that Bigg Boss should have nominated himself rather than getting them named from each other.

It was a toss between Zulfi & Monica. Shilpa Shetty asks Monica, who she thinka will go? Monica says that Zulfi has much fan following in the form of girls and since the girls who vote more, Zulfi will stay in the house and ya, she is right, Monica gets voted out of the house. Earlier on Day 89, Monica was upset with Rahul for some of his comments and Raja again was fuelling the fire. To which Rahul says that once the show is over, he will clarify on Nov. 22, what actually he meant on his comments ? Then Monica will repent, as to why she was angry with Rahul.

KATRINA : We are all awaiting eagerly for Subhash’s Ghai multistarrer “YUVRAJ”, starring Katrina, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Jayed Khan. Music by A.R. REHMAN is already in the air and is being liked by all.

Reports are that Katrina was not happy with the film’s cinematographer Kabir Lal, who it seems has not portrayed Katrina well in Dharmendra’s film “APNE”.

Once Katrina came to know that Kabir Lal is also working in Yuvraj, she voiced her opinion with Subhas Ghai on her experience with Kabir. But Ghai Sahab was adamant and went on with Kabir, assuring Katrina that she won’t be disappointed.

Now when the film was complete, it was the other way round and Katrina was so impressed with Kabir’s work that she has decided to gift him a Car. Katrina says that she has never looked so beautiful in any of her earlier films.

GOLMAAL RETURNS : Now that GOLMAAL PART 2 has become a hit, everybody is enjoying the film’s success. But I’s a bad news for the film’s producers Shree Ashtavinayaka Cinevision Ltd.

Late producer-director Rajendra Bhatia’s wife has lodged a complaint with Indian Motion Picture Producer’s Association (IMPPA) claiming that Gomaal Returns is a copy of her husband’s film “AAJ KI TAAZA KHABAR” , released long back in 1973, starring Kiran Kumar, Radha Saluja, Asrani and Paintal.

IMPAA President Mr. Anil Nagrath has confirmed the news and feels that iot is true that Golmaal Returns is lifted from Aaj ki Taaza Khabar, and they have sent a letter to Shree Ashtavinayak in this regards.

It’s really sad that Ashtavinayak has adopted such unfair ways, they could have straightaway asked for the rights from Bhatia’s before starting the film.

DOSTANA REVIEW

DOSTANA
Before moving ahead, I would sum up DOSTANA as superb, fantastic, great, fantabulous….in one word DOSTANA ROCKS !!!

It is a crazy and wacky comedy about two friends, who act themselves as gay. Though in such subjects, director has to be very cautious in the sense that the issue does not hurt the sentiments of gay community. But hats off to Director Tarun Mansukhani, to portray such delicate issue in a very balanced manner, without mocking at homosexualty.

Kudos to Karan Johar and also to John and Abhishek, going ahead and agreeing to play such SENSITIVE characters.

Cinematography is world class, portraying beautiful MIAMI beaches, where the film setting is based on. Dostana is a story about two friends Abhishek & John, who pretend to be gays in order to get an apartment to stay, since the owner Sushmita Mukherjee who is over protective of her young Niece Priyanka Chopra and doesn’t want any young guys in her flat.

Both acts as gays, but are attracted to Priyanka. Bur wait, there is one more surprise in the form of Bobby Deol, who is the third fellow to be in fray for Priyanka. And the film keeps the audience thinking that who gets the pretty heroine in the end.

First time Director Tarun Mansukhani has done a wonderful job his debut. Music by Vishal Shekhar is fun-filled and foot tapping, “DESI GIRL” & “MAA KA LAADLA” already are the craze in the young generation.

About the Actors, both John & Abhishek are just superb and compliment each other with fine comic timing, especially to mention Abhishek's comedy. And John has shown his fine toned muscular body, a treat to the young ladies. Priyanka looks sexy and beautiful with her bikini scene creating a curiosity. Another hit for her following the success of FASHION. Great Going Priyanka….

And how can we forget Abhishek’s mom Kirron Kher and Boman Irani, who brings the house to laughter. Plus the item song of SHILPA SHETTY with her sexy figure.

Overall, DOSTANA rocks. So just go and ENJOY….

GHAJINI : Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has rubbed his co-actress ASIN in a wrong way. News are that Asin is very much annoyed and fed up with various restrictions imposed on her for not disclosing about their film Gahjini and also not interacting with the media. Also, there are no public appearances for her, no events, which has not gone well with Asin, since it is stopping her in promoting herself for her career. Moreover she has been asked not to extend her pictures and potfolios to anyone, thus maintaining the curiosity about the film and it’s heroine.

Finally being fed up of such restrictions, she had voiced her agony to Aamir, over which he was also surprised. Asin, when contacted refused to divulge any details, on the context of not speaking to the press, as per the guidelines of film unit.

VIVEK OBEROI : Hope everybody remembers the big fifth between our Sallu Miya and Vivek Oberoi. After which Vivek realized his mistake and tried to mend his relations with Salman several times, but in vain.

It seems now Vivek has given up and his moving towards SRK SHARUKH ‘s camp. During a recent Fashion show he was seen with SRK’s wife Gauri Khan and her friends. Also, he is been spotted in SRK’s parties. Good Luck Vivek.

CHITRAGANDHA SINGH : Remember vivacious and talented Chitragandha, who made her debut in “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi” and was launched by Director Sudhir Mishra. After her sparkling debut, she did a couple of films and left the Bollywood industry to everyone’s surprise.

Now after being bitten by the film bug hat she decided to make her comeback again and had promised her mentor Sudhir Mishra that she will be associated with him in her comeback.

But she broke her promise and has signed Onir’s “SORRY BHAI”, same Onir of “My Brother Nikhil” fame. Now this has not gone well with Sudhir Mishra, who had finalized a script especially for Chitrgandha. He is quite furious and as per the sources is not sure about working with her in future. Chitragandha had tried to calm down Sudhir, but it seems that things have not been sorted out.

We can only wish that the matter is solved amicably and we get to some quality work thru’ their combination.

Another Advertisement opportunity in the form of AIRTEL after HERO HONDA, BIGG BOSS is leaving no stones unturned in getting the monetary benefits. Here the housemates have to write a message for each other on the Airtel Placard pasted at the back of each contestant.

On Day 86, BIGG BOSS announced that some special guest is coming to the house for which everybody was excited and were getting ready. But to their surprise, it was a cute little puppy named KUT, which was a welcome change for the housemates.

Bigg Boss asks the experience of each contestant who have been living in the house for such a long time. Ashutosh was upset with Raja, in the sense that he has changed a lot and their relations have turned bit sour. Raja is very serious about winning the BIGG BOSS show, since it will be his first prize in his life till date.

Bigg Boss announces a Mr. BIGG BOSS competition, which is being judged by Monica, where all the boys do a RAMP SHOW, and Monica asks a question to each contestant. Raja is skeptical that Payal will be more biased towards Rahul, but surprising Monica awards him the Mr. BIGG BOSS title, on which Raja is very much excited and shares his joy with his daughter’s photo frame.

BIGG BOSS has something special in the form of Scooter Drive especially for girls. The girls have been given HERO HONDA `PLEASURE’, meant for girls, as usual Monica enjoys the learning pleasure from Rahul. Sambhavna and Payal drives easily.

Next day is Payal’s Birthday for which boys are planning some special songs specially linking Rahul & Payal’s (past) love story. As soon as clock strikes 12 in the night, everyone surprise Payal on her Birthday with a cake and balloons.
Then special songs are devoted to Payal. Rahul is visibly upset or we can say somewhat guilty at some of the songs, specially “ Kya hua tera Vaada, who Kasam who Iraada…”.

Today is the nomination day. Big Boss declares that Sambhavna and Payal will be safe and will not be part of nomination, to everyone’s surprise. Since they were guests in Big Boss now, but it was a secret for other housemates.

FASHION : As we all know that Fashion is a Super Hit. But another filmy friendship has gone sour in the form of Priyanka & Kangana, who had become close friends during the shooting of Fashion.

It is heard that both of them are upset with the critics’ reviews, while Priyanka was upset with the reviews raving about Kangana performance, on the other side, Kangan was not happy with critics’ praising Priyanka’s performance. Kangana showed her annoyance by not attending most of the film promotional events.

BIPASHA'S TRAUMATIC LAMHES : The latest is that Bipasha Basu who was praised by all for signing Rahul Dholakia’s 'LAMHE’, a film based on Kashmir and to be shot in disturbing Kashmir, has now surprised everybody by leaving the film shooting in between and flying back to Mumbai, after shooting for just a week.

According to Bipasha, it was a traumatic experience for her during initial days of shooting. Inspite of security arrangements, crowds were not under control. Also, while the complete unit of the film stayed at Oberoi, Srinagar, she alongwith her hairdresser and a friend had to stay all alone in a separate hotel and being a woman, it was a very frightening experience for her.

And she left the day Sanjay Dutt arrived in Srinagar to participate in the shooting. All the efforts of Rahul Dholakia went in vain. It seems now the film will be shot in Manali.
