SRK & AAMIR KHAN JOIN HANDS
Bollywood Stars Shah Rukh Khan & Aamir Khan leaving behind their old tussle came together on a single platform yesterday to join the ongoing struggle between the Producers and multiplex owners over the profit sharing in the business revenues.
At a PRESS CONFERENCE, Aaamir said that the industry can survive only if all the sectors viz. Producers, Distributors & Exhibitors work together in fairness. "
SRK & AAMIR joined the a big gathering on this occasion with the biggies of film industry as Yash Chopra, Ronnie Screwvala, Rakesh Roshan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Ratan Jain, Bhushan Kumar, Ramesh Sippy, Mukesh Bhatt and many others.
It may be recalled that the Producers from the film industry have gone on strike from April 4 and have decided not to release any films until the multiplex owners agree to a revenue sharing of 50:50.
In response to the producers' demand, the multiplex owners said a strict 'NO' and instead said that will pay 50:50 only if the film does well, else the revenue will not be shared equally.
SRK added - "We have come with a slogan. Fair rights for Friday nights," .
We are keeping our fingers crossed and hope for an early solution to this issue.
