PRIYANKA CHOPRA to play 12 characters

PRIYANKA CHOPRA plays 12 characters in her forthcoming film "What's Your Raashee" directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and pairing opposite her is her ex-boyfriend Harman Baweja.

And according to her this is the most difficult film of her carrer, since she had to look different in all of the characters with different body language, voice, accent and she did not got enough time to prepare for the characterization.

Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra has scored a HAT TRICK of her hit films with the success of her latest film KAMINEY.

She is really excited as Kaminey has done a wonderful job on the Box Office. Now Priyanka has delivered 3 successive HITS in the form of "FASHION, DOSTANA & KAMINEY".

Now she is eagerly awaiting the release of her next film Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's Your Rashee', opposite Harman Baweja, where she will be seen essaying 12 different roles.

KAMINEY opens well at Box Office

KAMINEY directed by Vishal Bhardwaj has opened to an excellent response at Bollywood Box Office.

The combination of Vishal Bhardwaj, Shahid Kapoor & 'Dhan Te Nan' song has worked extremely well for the film plus the long weekend has been the icing on the cake. Shahid Kapoor has been liked by all and this is his best work of the career. In the movie, Shahid plays double role - Guddu & Charlie, both having speech defects with Guddu stammering and Charlie lisping. Even Priyanka Chopra has done a splendid job and her Mrathi accent has been liked by all.

Sad that the Mumbai & Pune audience will have to wait, since all the theatres are closed due to ongoing Swine Flu scare.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA finally signs her first YASHRAJ Banner Film

Finally our Piggy Chops, yes Priyanka Chopra has sighned her first Yash Raj banner film called 'PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE', written by Uday Chopra, son of Yash Chopra. Pyaar Impossible is the first film, Priyanaka has signed after Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's Your Raashee?', co-starring her ex-boyfriend Harman Baweja.

Pyaar Impossible will be directed by Jugal Hansraj, as per reports, film's plot is based on hollywood film 'Notting Hill' which depicts the relationship between a star, played by Julia Roberts and her fan Hugh Grant.

SHAHRUKH KHAN - DATUK

As mentioned earlier, King Khan was conferred with “DATUK”, a top honour by Malaysian government, equivalent to British Knighthood, on Saturday.

SRK, with an injured arm (while shooting) flew to to Malaysia on Saturday and received this award amidst large ovation, he even tok a rickshaw ride thru’ Malacca.

There was some resentment among local artistes, who wondered as to what Sahah Rukh has done that they have not to, receive this prestigious award.

A Malaysian newspaper editorial said “Shah Rukh is ours”. Justifying the decision of the Malacca state to confer the award on King Khan, the editorial said: "Sadly for them, the answer is not what Shah Rukh has done but who he is. And who he is, is not just a fabulously successful 43-year-old film star with global recognition and vast masses of devoted fans. Nor is he just a talented and hard-working entertainer with more bankable cultural-crossover appeal than any other Bollywood stars of his generation (with the possible exception of Hrithik Roshan, who is taller and dances better but lacks Shah Rukh's political clout),".

It is well known that Shah Rukh and other Bollywood stars, besides from the Tamil cinema are immensely popular in Malaysia, with their movies and music released regularly. Malaysia has a 8 million population, including around 2.5 million ethnic Indians i.e. around 85 of the population.

The popularity goes beyond the estimated 2.5 million ethnic Indians who form eight percent of Malaysia's 28 million population.

After 2 back to back hits, courtesy “FASHION & DOSTANA”, Priyanka Chopra is riding the BOX OFFICE wave, as a result top banners are approaching her with significant roles.

And finally, as per the sources, she has landed herself in Yash Raj Banner - YRF, with a film to be directed by Jugal Hansraj, starring Uday Chopra.

However there have been no confirmation from YRF as well as Priyanka, lett’s wait for the official announcement.
