AMISHA PATEL

AMISHA PATEL

There were strong rumours in the air earlier this week about Amisha Patel getting married to her boyfriend Kanav Puri, who incidentally is a close friend of Film Director Kunal Kohli.

But sadly, Amisha Patel denied the rumours straightaway expressing her thanks for the congratulations and conveying that she is very much unmarried at present but also promised that marriage is on the cards and it should happen soon. All the Best, Amisha.

KUNAL KOHLI

And now they both are getting along very well, as if there was nothing had happened between them. All the 3 films will be spaced out over a period of 3 years. Currently both the houses are on scripting stage. All the best Kunal Kohli, good going.

RBEL has a line-up of 18 films to be released next year, which incidentally is the maximum for any production house in a year.

KAREENA KAPOOR

KAREENA KAPOOR – NO MORE "SIZE ZERO"

It seems that our BEBO has finally come out of her obsession of her SIZE ZERO figure, which she displayed in “TASHAN” & “GOLMAAL RETURNS”..

For her forthcoming “KAMBAKHT ISHQ”, she is shedding her Size Zero figure, since her character is of a surgeon who goes on to become a supermodel.

She is going back to her normal figure. It must be a relief to most of her fans, who liked her original avtar rather than skinny size zero body. Also, in her other coming film “MR. & MRS. KHANNA”, she plays a housewife, for which her normal filled-up figure will suit perfectly.

MR. INDIA - PART 2, KATRINA KAIF

MR. INDIA - PART 2

Finally, it’s official now, as of now, Director Anurag Basu has been roped in to direct long awaited sequel to 1987 classic “MR. INDIA”. And the best part is that the film to be produced by Boney Kapoor, also marks the comeback of the then Bollywood reigning queen SRIDEVI alongwith Anil Kapoor as the male lead.

The news has been confirmed by film’s co-producer Manmohan Shetty.

The film was initially to be directed by Shekhar Kapoor, who surprisingly turned down the offer, but decided to be part of the film as a creative head.

KATRINA VS JOHN ABRAHAM

Finally, Katrina Kaif and John Abraham have decided to bury their differences and they were seen having a good time during the shooting of Yash Raj Films’ NEW YORK, to be directed by Kabir Khan of KABUL EXPRESS fame.

The reasons of their differences were due to the problems Salman Khan was having with John Abraham and Katrina with John’s girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Initially during the shoot of NEW YORK, they both were very uncomfortable and just were bothered about their work, but on insistence of unit members and for the betterment of NEW YORK, they both decided to resolve their differences. And now they both are getting along very well, as if there was nothing had happened between them.

AKSHAY KUMAR

It seems Akshay Kumar is living upto his star value, being one of the biggest crowd puller in Bollywood.

It just happened that for his coming film “KAMBAKKHT ISHQ”, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Akshay refused to wear suits designed by designer Shabina Khan, for his introductory scene in the movie.

Instead, Akshay and director Sabir Khan went for shopping and himself purchased a new suit valued at Rs.5 lakhs. Sajid Nadiadwala being a close friend of Akshay and also a producer, who leaves no stone unturned to make the film lavish, didn’t mond this costly purchase.

As written earlier in one of my blog, this much talked about film also stars biggies from Hollywood as Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Carmen Electra & Brandon Routh. The female lead heroine is Kareena Kapoor.

AKSHAY KUMAR : LUCKY 7

As is known to everybody that our Akki aka Akshay Kumar is a firm believer in Numerology.

But it seems that he has shifted to his loyalties from No. 9 to No. 7. Since, Akshay’s birthday is on September 9, earlier planning all his moves as per No.9, but off late, it seems that No. 7 is Akki’s favourite. Reason being, he got shifted the release dates of both of hids forthcoming films in such a way that their sum gets added top 7. Like JUMBO release has been changed from December 18 to December 25 and CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA gets released on January 7.

SANJAY DUTT

Our Sanju Baba becomes the first Bollywood actor to cut down his fees on account of ongoing RECESSION followd by recent MUMBAI TERROR ATTACKS.

As per Sanjay Dutt, “Recession has hit everyone big time. We all need to understand the seriousness of the situation and do our bit. We simply have to lower our prices.”

Well done Sanju Baba, wish our other actors take a leaf from him.

RELIANCE BIG PICTURES VS MANI RATNAM

It’s a rather surprising news from Anil Ambani’s RELIANCE BIG PICTURES. They have backed out of their much talked about their Rs.120 Crore prestigious project in tie-up with Mani Ratnam for his multilingual film “RAVAN”, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Tamil super star Vikram.

As per the reliable sources, Reliance Big has written to Mani Ratnam to reduce the production cost by 50%, in view of the current recession scenario, which did not go down well with the director.

And the news are that Mani Ratnam has decided to produce the grand movie himself and that too in 3 languages – Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. In the Hindi version, Abhishek Bachchan will play the lead role, while Vikram will be in the negative role. While in Tamil & Telugu, Vikram will be the hero and Malayali actor Prithviraj is the villain. However Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be the female lead in all the 3 versions.

Reliance move also is bit shocking, since Anil Ambani is considered to be one of the close friends of Amitabh Bachchan.

BOLLYWOOD NEWS - KANGANA VS ADHYAYAN

ADHYAYAN SUMAN
Son of television superstar Shekhar Suman, one film old actor Adhyayan Suman hopes to make his mark in Bollywood with Mahesh Bhat’s supernatural THRILLER 'RAAZ- THE MYSTERY CONTINUES', to be directed by Mohit Suri.

Adhyayan started his career with box-office failure 'HAAL-E-DIL' recently and is now heavily relying on 'Raaz-The Mystery Continues' to give him a new lease of life. However, he is more known in the Bollywood industry for his friendship or affair with Kangana Ranaut, who incidentally plays his girlfriend in the film.

In the film, he plays a role of a documentary filmmaker, who doesn't believe in supernatural things. He even makes a documentary film “ANDHAVISHWAS” in the film to create awareness among people. However, in real life, he himself gets scared of watching Horror movies and still can’t believe that he is doing such a HORROR Thriller in the start of his career.

On the role he plays in the thriller musical he says, "I am a documentary filmmaker, who doesn't believe in supernatural things. I even make a documentary 'Andhavishwas' to educate people that ghosts are only a creation of human mind nothing else. Kangana is my girlfriend in the film," says the actor.

All the best Adhyayan for your career.

KANGANA RAUT & ADHYAYAN SUMAN

As written earlier in my blog about the real life lovers Kangana & Adhyayan Suman being paired together in reel life too courtesy Mahesh Bhatt’s RAAJ 2, now they both are in news again, but have rubbed the leading actor of the film Emran Hashmi the wrong way.

It happened that recently during the shoot of RAAZ 2, both Kangana & Adhyayan remained locked together in their vanity van for nearly 2 hours, thereby keeping Emraan Hashmi waiting for them unnecessarily. Finally, seeing no signs of the lovers availability for the shot, Emraan walked out of the sets, fuming. Director Mohit Suri tried to calm down Emraan, but in vain.

At last when Kangana & Adhyayan came out of the van, and came to know about Emraan’s departure they were very embarrassed. News is that Adhyayan apologized for their act and things were finally back to normal.
